We used a thread called Tenara Clear which is a 100% UV and chemical proof thread. We only used that because most of the canvas jobs in our sewing loft are sewn with Tenara thread. However, usually when sewing Sunbrella Furniture Fabric you would use a Polyester V-69 thread not Tenara thread.
I have been wanting to learn how to sew in piping. What kind of thread is that?

Great video, this is very helpful. I have a question about the size of fabric you are using for the 20"x20" pillow form. You said to measure and cut the pillow fabric to 19"x19" for that size form. However, when you sewed on the piping you lost a 1/2" on the seam around the pillow. Is it intended then that the finshed cover is actually 18"x18" when it is complete?

great video! Tip: you should always pre-stuff the corners with a little batting/cushion, before adding your pillow form. that way those corners will always be full.
